What awaits you
During this 6-month internship, you will be part of the IT Support team and contribute to daily operational activities, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems and end-user support.
Main responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support (L1) for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Assist users with Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Support user account management tasks (password resets, access requests, group memberships) in Entra ID (Azure AD)
Help with device setup and configuration (Windows laptops, MacBooks, mobile devices)
Assist in troubleshooting common IT issues (connectivity, applications, printing, etc.)
Support software installation and updates according to company standards
Contribute to IT asset management (inventory tracking, device lifecycle support)
Assist with Intune-related activities (basic device enrollment, policy checks, compliance status)
Document incidents, solutions, and internal procedures in the ticketing system
Collaborate with senior IT team members on ongoing projects and improvements
Participation in IT security and compliance initiatives (endpoint protection, access control)
Basic scripting or automation tasks (PowerShell – optional)
Supporting rollout of IT policies or tools (e.g., deployment via Intune)
Assisting in documentation creation (guides, internal knowledge base)
What should you bring along
We are looking for a motivated candidate eager to learn and grow in an IT support environment.
Mandatory requirements:
University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or currently enrolled)
0–1 year of experience (internship experience or academic projects in IT is a plus)
Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or macOS)
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, connectivity troubleshooting)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plus
Excellent English verbal and written skills
Strong communication and customer-oriented mindset
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
German communication skills will be a plus
Basic knowledge of Entra ID / Active Directory
Exposure to Intune / device management tools
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
Understanding of IT security basics
