We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Node.js developer to join our team and take ownership of developing and maintaining our application. As a developer, you will have significant autonomy and responsibility in shaping the technical direction of the project.

What awaits you

· Design and implement scalable applications using Node.js and related technologies

· Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database schemas

· Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of applications

· Design and implement the frontend architecture of our web application

· Develop reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

· Implement automated testing and continuous integration/deployment pipelines

· Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production

· Manage database design, updates, and data migrations

· Maintain system security and implement best practices for data protection

· Provide regular progress updates and documentation

What should you bring along

• University Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 3 years of professional experience with Node.js and React development

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features

• Extensive experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

• Proven experience with RESTful APIs design and implementation

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns

• Expertise in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (particularly MongoDB)

• Good understanding of React concepts (Hooks, Context, etc.) and experience with state management (Redux, MobX, or Zustand)

• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks, modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and React testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library)

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, modern CSS frameworks and with responsive and adaptive design

• Experience with version control systems (GitHub)

• Proficiency in writing automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) with Playwright/Selenium

• Ability to make independent architectural decisions

• Solid understanding of security best practices

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions

• Excellent English verbal and written skills

• German communication skills will be a plus
